Both my elderly and disabled parents are in 1901. They wanted the extra comfort as they are in their 80's and walking even 100 yards takes them over 5 minutes so it is too far for them, especially when the ground is wet and slippery. And yes, they are 'normal' fans. Definitely not posh or snobby.
