    COG on his way then....

I'd go along with that I think a big part of the problem might be that Hypia destroyed much of what we might have seen by playing him infrequently and out of position plus making unneccessary remarks to the media. Then Hughton comes in and for the most part sets up not to lose games and when he...

    COG on his way then....

I creased up when I read someone saying his second touch is always a tackle Like you, I was thrilled when we signed him and persevered with, despite knowing he had the touch of a heavyweight boxer, right through until coming back from his injury. Now he's even lost his pace as demonstrated by...

    COG on his way then....

What skill is he lacking in a Championship striker? He's strong, even CB's bounce off him. He can bring others into play, spot their runs and play a decent ball. He's got a half good shot and his energy levels seem to be all there, albeit not hugely fast. No record of niggly injuries. Not sure...

    COG on his way then....

Ha Ha ... as someone who has liberated himself of the CMS idolisation, let me tell you it's not all that bad once you pluck up the courage and just go for it He's friggin useless, can't control a ball, makes random runs and doesn't bring anyone else into play. You see that wasn't difficult :)

    COG on his way then....

S I didn't realise it got to you but it helps to have a better understanding You are right that many had written him off before he had even kicked a ball and even now some are still saying he's not good enough. I don't see it as a large swathe just a very vocal and largely instantly...

    COG on his way then....

Nothing new there then! The COG debate has been running a while and there were plenty of us on here that saw the potential and were wanting to give him a chance long before the Fulham game But if I want to point a finger at the collective stupidity of a large majority of NSC posters then I...

Blimey ... how can you fail to just love this bloke?

    COG on his way then....

Blimey are you saying he's only going on 2 cylinders now? It's all NSC conjecture based on putting 2 and 2 together ... where has anyone seen him say " I don't like it in the South so I want to go back North"? Seen several things saying he's unsettled but that's way different .. reckon much of...

    COG on his way then....

I don't know about happy to stay but he's certainly not playing like a bloke that's waiting for the removal van to arrive. We should ship out poster boy, keep COG and learn how to play off a man that can hold a ball up and bring others into play
