I personally believe we will def sign someone. For sure.I don't however think it will necessarily be someone we are mad about. The feeling might be better this guy then what we have.It might be a bit of a panic buy however better panic then suicide because it will be suicide if we don't sign.
Any striker or the striker we want? What if the one we really want is playing hardball?what if NO-ONE was willing to sign on Jan 1st?Do you thing Tony Bloom etc wouldn't have wanted someone on Jan 1st?Do you think there is a good reason we haven't signed anyone?
If we don't sign a striker even though we have money, and that will mean this window and last summer we've failed, then I'm all
for protesting through the streets of Brighton but let's just hope the two failed medicals was a freak and we won't have the same
bad luck or screw up again. If we don't...
Ok.In that case I suggest we find the striker we want and then torture him until he signs.
Otherwise we pay double the price for someone just to get him in now.
Panic 3 days from the end.Not now.
I think Brighton would have learnt alot however how do you suggest they force a player to sign or a team to sell?
Send the boys round and threaten a beating?
Failed since Sept 1st?how if the transfer window has two weeks left?
Strikers would have considered relegation when considering signing for us in the summer and more.Remember,we
were supposed to be in the bottom 3 since day 1.We were not supposed to have reached 8th.We were not supposed
to on...
You approach a club, you can't agree on a fee, both sides bluff each other then right on the last day one of them gives or doesn't give and a deal is done/not done.Simples.
Ok so in answer to my question some of that 7.5 months was when they were looking but unable to buy.
As you know they had TWO failed medicals last summer.Still yes you could say it was a bit of a cock up not to have
bought a striker.
When you say no result after 7.5 months, you do realise...
What do you mean they have had 7.5 months? As you know there hasn't been a transfer window for 7.5 months.
If you mean during this time they should have been looking around then when the window is open then
make enquiries well that's what they have been doing.
I disagree with you.You know much of the transfer 'window' has become a transfer 'day' because so much happens on the last
day.Hence the big fuss Sky Sports make on that final day. They love the drama.
Personally I am not expecting anything to happen until the final 3 days.
If we mess up like...
