Don’t much care for Brewdog bars but I try to drink copious amounts of their beer. It’s not the best beer out there but it is brilliant for the price in the supermarkets…. I don’t like kissing men with beards btw.
I think Brewdog got where they are today with their own particular brand of marketing. Their product is good but so were a lot of other brewers at the time.
I can’t see any reason why they would change strategy now.
Taking Elvis juice from 6-5 down to 5-1 abv has upset me though.
Im not commenting on the money or image side of things but this quote from your link is quite frankly imo balderdash.
Perhaps in the end it comes to down to whether you think the beer is any good or not. My view, hardly secret, is that this varies between types of beer. The imperial stouts are...
I’ve heard their explanations on the first count but have no idea on the second count. I shall though read further.
So far nothing to stop me buying copious amounts of their beer.
I must admit they’ve only ever made me laugh how they upset some people.
Their beers are generally quite splendid though.
You don’t generally like craft beer though do you.
I buy mine from supermarkets and beer sites so the expense factor doesn’t really come in to it with me.
Well I never drank beer with U.S. West coast hops when I was young. Not disputing there have been many varieties but what beers did you drink in the 70s and 80s'. On the whole , mass produced tasteless shit. Even the decent bitters tasted pretty much the same. Name a stout or porter other than...
If I,m sipping a Baltic or Russian Imperian stout or a Belgium Quad at 10.5% then I would be treating it like a fine wine.
If you want an everyday, common beverage then that's fine but I like what's happening with the new brewers.
So you think all beer is the same do you ? The point is that the newer brews are different, they aren't bland bitters or tasteless lager s like Fosters. The American brewers have helped raise the standards and encouraged innovation amongst a whole new generation of British brewers (and other...
Went in Brewdog the other day and I think I payed £4.80 for a pint of Punk. Also had an Almanac Saison which was £5.00 for a half. One of the best Saisons I,ve ever drunk so I didn't mind but some of their guest beers are a bit silly price wise. But like I say £4.80 for Punk............is that...
