Your definition of out of position and mine are different. A striker is a striker in my mind, loan or otherwise. The issue is the tactics.....

Still played as striker therefore not out of position, and I guarantee a better supply line than either he or Baldock is likely to get this season.

Out of position, you'll have to explain that one, my recollection is that he was down the middle. Barnes was always the one to be sacrificed positionally.
