    I have never seen anyone inside the building and I go past both day and night. Never any lights or a TV flicker. Meanwhile. Whitbread, one of the biggest brewers in the 70's, now only have Costa, Premier Inn, Brewers Fayre and other minor brands.

    Anyone know what is happening to the Ship Inn on the Lewes to Uckfield road? Closed a few years back and seems empty since then. Not big enough for a 'chain' pub (Toby etc) but at the same time not been lived in as far as I can see.
