This seems a good time to mention Particl again! The all-singing decentralised Marketplace (think a crypto ebay) will go live next week and particl prices have been climbing steadily.

There is no fresh China clampdown as far as I can tell, just the same one they've been banging on about for years.

Very much buy for utility but as you say, this hasn't to date been a mark of success, with nonsense like doge doing well.

I understand he just left it plugged into his computer for around an hour. I can't give you an answer to the technical stuff as it's a bit beyond me despite my best efforts. Looking like Maidsafe testnet will launch today.

I know someone who had most of their bitcoin hacked off a Trezor. Would recommend a Ledger as I don't think this is possible as you have to press a button to allow any transaction.

Bit mad, thought it would go into oblivion with all the legal stuff. Maidsafe is at an All Time High and releasing on a new exchange today. They are also expecting Testnet to be released today.

Isn't there a fairly high likelihood that polkadot/cardano will take over before Ethereum 2 is released?

At the moment, but it isn't scalable. I don't have the tech know-how to fully explain it unfortunately.

I switched off a bit when he mentioned Ethereum - several people I know who know their stuff say it is fundamentally broken.

Have been watching EWT - looks a good project. A lot of rumours that Maidsafe will launch testnet today though, which could blow everything else out of the water.

Be interested to hear your thoughts on Maidsafe @Albion Dan - it's been coming for a long time... but if it every actually arrives it will likely change everything and potentially wipe out everything else.

Feel free to use my referral code https://www.coinbase.com/join/haywar_y0f  Kraken is ok too, and Binance, but they are all quite complex, whereas Coinbase is a bit more user-friendly (as per Swissborg). All depends what you want to do with it really (i.e. if you're only using it to...

Swissborg is OK but the fees are high if you're dealing in small quantities. Usually recommend coinbase otherwise. Bozza needs to be getting involved, he could be getting BAT from those of us using brave browser.
