I'm a Spotify person myself - listened to quite a lot today (one of the joys of home working) and commend the new Caro Emerald album - "The Shocking Miss Emerald" as a jolly bit of undemanding summery pop music.

Pokerface (yes, the Madonna, sorry Lady GaGa one) by Blowsight. Cover version in a heavy rock stylee and it works.

"Still in love with you" (yes, the Thin Lizzy one) as covered by Sade, and it works!

Love that track, the drums on it sound as if they are being played by a gorilla on steroids using telegraph poles! Back to the thread. "On a carousel" by the Hollies just finished, "Sweet dreams are made of this" by the Euryrthymics up next. Shuffle play I luvs it!

"Roots" by Show of Hands. The tune that got me in to this duo. Any other fans on NSC?

The original version of "No regrets" by Tom Rush, who wrote it. Good but not as good as the Walker Brothers version. Bet Tom Rush doesn't mind the royalties!
