[Albion] Jack Hinshelwood [9/4/24: new deal to 2028]

It is possible he'll be off. But also a good chance he'll renew. Same with Veltman. He's not featured much this season, though mostly though mostly through injury, but I wonder if he'll look at this as a chance to start afresh somewhere. I guess there's be quite a few ins and outs in a lot...

[Albion] Jack Hinshelwood [9/4/24: new deal to 2028]

I think there's a very good chance he'll be our first choice right back next season, mainly because RDZ seems to like him there (and I think RDZ will still be around). If all 3 are fit (don't laugh), it's a very close selection decision at RB between Lamptey, Veltman and Hinsh. I reckon it...

Brilliant news. And to be honest I never doubted it would happen

This is my thought. It's going a bit beyond just luck. So many apparently being picked up in training as well

Also if Hinshelwood continues to improve at the current rate, I can see him becoming a better player than his dad.

Just imagine if we had Solly fit. Hinsh and Sol would absolutely boss the right side of the pitch. Both so hard working

Not inconceivable now that when Veltman is fit, Hinsh challenges Gilmour for a place in centre mid. And i'm a big Gilmour fan. He's certainly 3rd choice in my view

[Albion] Jack Hinshelwood [9/4/24: new deal to 2028]

Yes Jack. I like watching a player who's not afraid (and has the ability to) leather it. All those years of players in those positions looking like they're striking the ball in their carpet slippers. Vicario didn't react to that until it was past him

Don't know though mate. I saw Adam H score an unbelievable goal at the Withdean. Looked up, saw the keeper wide of his goal and spanked it beyond his grasp.

Comes across as a silly and petty comment

Crying way too much to be able to type on a computer

Keep giving it some in front of the north stand lad. You deserve it

I agree with your point. This additional layer of support increases the chances of good decision making. But a love of nightclubs isn't the only reason a player might not make the progress you would expect. Some just don't kick on in the way you'd expect.

[Albion] Jack Hinshelwood [9/4/24: new deal to 2028]

I hate to go against our esteemed manager, but I just think that speculation as to the progress of a young player is unhelpful. Player development is far from linear and there are many hurdles for the lad to get over before he could become a player anywhere near as good as Gross. It's been...

[Albion] Jack Hinshelwood [9/4/24: new deal to 2028]

And to be fair, most players get their first chance because of an injury etc. I think the other point about why Facu gets questioned, is that at the start of the season he looked to most (well i'll just speak for myself) as though he's a year behind Sarmiento in his development, so it's a...

[Albion] Jack Hinshelwood [9/4/24: new deal to 2028]

He did really well today, but up to this point, he's looked like a player that other teams target But he's taken his chance. Had Fati, March, Enciso and Welbeck not all sustained long term injuries, it's a chance he probably wouldn't have got

[Albion] Jack Hinshelwood [9/4/24: new deal to 2028]

His family must be very very proud. He's horrifically out of position, let's say that. But he's tidy. I can see him playing regularly at top level in a Dahoud / Alzate kind of way in years to come. Get on the ball, pop it off, keep it ticking . In more normal times injury-wise he would be...

[Albion] Jack Hinshelwood [9/4/24: new deal to 2028]

But consider his age and level of experience. Then think about almost any player in the world, (apart from maybe the top 20) and ask yourself whether they would have been able to shine in a game like that with that many pro minutes under their belt. It is absolutely miles too early to be...
