Yes there's financial reward for qualifying from the Champions League. But Tony can't just take $19 million and bank it, any more than he can he can just bank the £100+ million a year for Brighton being in the PL. If USG do qualify for the Champions League, they'll need more players...

I don't know this, but my guess is that Bloom isn't bothered about USG's title push, UCL or no UCL. If Dante (or Mitoma) could help Brighton in January, he'll be coming. USG is a means to an end which is going way better than he hoped for.

This arrangement is great for Brighton. I don't think it should be allowed though. One person shouldn't own more than one club.
