Following that logic why have a thread past a first post that says " McDonalds is full of crap but won't do you much harm eaten occasionally"? Or for that matter, why have a thread at all? We all know what the score is.
I don't eat curry either, for that exact reason. Plus most British curries are gross. But yes, moderation is the key. Difficult with kids as you don't want to deny them things do much that they crave it when they can get it.

If a qualified doctor is telling you that ANYONE should be eating, for example a Happy Meal that contains the same amount of salt as 13 orders of McDonalds fries then I truly despair.

McDonalds is bad for you, it's basically chemicals and sugar of the worst kind. Eating there often is bad for you. But people don't think these things catch up with them. They do when you're 55 and you have colon cancer.
