So to re-ask my question from posts 7 and 13 in this thread, how then will it be enforced that Chelsea pay the correct amount if/when they sell him ? If the contract between them and the buying club is confidential then what are the safeguards for BHA ? Or, come to that, the current safeguards...

The give or take bit defines it as the profit rather than the gross amount.

I’m thinking about trust. I guess they wouldn’t need to be public knowledge (my post was poorly worded) but the details would need to be independently verifiable to avoid shenanigans.

So presumably all transfer details are public knowledge so that potential recipients of sell ons know what to expect ?
