Bozza provided links to six studies in post 128 of this thread. They contradict your point of view. You haven’t provided any links to support what you are saying but instead have given us a speech, hinting at our mental fragility for supporting the side of the argument with the actual scientific...
And of course private companies do lots of things the Government doesn’t tell them to do. As do we as individuals. Anybody sitting around waiting for the authorities to wipe their arse is simply hiding from their personal and corporate responsibility.
Not as simple as that though, is it. It would be foolish of her to make a health decision based on a nationwide average probability that doesn’t take any other factors into account ie pre existing health conditions, prevalence of the virus locally, capacity at local hospital. If this is a real...
Seeing as every winter the NHS experiences a large call on its resources from flu and pneumonia, I would say that adding another (more transmissible) virus like Covid into the mix is pretty serious. It is very far from ‘normal’ to double the numbers admitted from viruses, as claimed by that poster.

I think we both know that the Government rules out a lot of things only to change its mind when presented with absolutely no choice :) 1 in 60 now has the virus and it’s 1 in 50 up here in the NW. Half of over 80s haven’t bothered with their booster and hospitalizations, deaths and infections...
Yes, needs to be mandatory because voluntary isn’t working. The alternative will be winter lockdown. To be fair most people ar our local supermarket wear one but football is nonsensical. We wear ours whenever we go shopping and also at all times at football in the concourse or in our seats apart...
