After a deflating afternoon, I am now looking forward to visiting the Amex next Sunday and hoping against hope for an improved attacking performance and perhaps even a famous point or three.

Played well? Not really. We showed nothing going forward until the final 10 minutes. Apart from the goal, they never really looked in charge or much of a danger, but we looked little better overall. Disappointingly poor, imo.

A draw is the minimum requirement today to keep a healthy distance between us and them. A win would be superb and round off the footballing week nicely.
