    I can see why this might be fairer as a fan, but the logistics of administering several slots per day might be prohibitive. And might save the club money to make tier 2 big enough that any remaining tickets are expected to go, and they won't need to service more windows. Also shorter slots...

    Fair point, I could see that happening. I feel for anyone who didn't / couldn't book travel and accom early.

    Just got an email saying they gave me the wrong on-sale date! Panicked! Then realised they were just correcting their '29th October' error mentioned earlier :lol:

    I think as Marseille was the first one, short notice and an unknown process, a lot of people pre-registered just to keep their options open, to decide later. Then didn't buy for whatever reason (cost, safety concerns, change of plans etc). I don't think there will be many dropping out for Ajax...

    Hooray! But I don't think fewer registered, necessarily. Unlike for Marseille they haven't split the guaranteed tickets into 2 tiers this time, it's only guaranteed tickets for tier 1 and it's a bigger tier/lower cut-off. So the tier 1 cut-off is what the tier 2 cut-off would have been on the...
