I agree, they weren't much better when they had Bravo, Gayle etc in their team either. What I do find disappointing about the WIndies is that talent like Jofra Archer is getting away. It's a mess and until they sort out the internal politics it's only going one way.

I guess the difference is that we were picking our strongest test team against a far superior opposition, this isn't the strongest team that the WIndies could have selected.

I think a strong West Indies is good for world cricket and as a lad who was born and grew up in Barbados it seems a shame that he doesn't play for them. That said, his dad is English so perhaps he feels a stronger affinity with England. I agree that it wouldn't help Sussex if he played for WI...

Shame Jofra isn't roaring in at Cook and Root today, I'd have loved to see that.
