I was impressed with Crofts. The bloke has been through a lot recently with his injuries but came in and did a solid job yesterday. Stephens and Kayal were pretty much untouchable so it's great that they will now have a bit of competition. A fit Crofts playing alongside those two in a midfield...

Reading have some fairly capable forwards, I'd want my defence to be as strong as possible. Rosenior has played left back many times for Hull in the PL, yes we'd lose him down the right but we can cover that adequately with other players. Calderon would be weaker at left back than Rosenior...

It could be that he'll swap to a 451 today, keeping the wingers but sacrificing a striker. That would allow Rosenior to move to left back.

Yep I'm sure he considered it, but it would leave Calderon and March as a pair which seems a bit weak to me.

Rosenior was a very shrewd acquisition. Shame we haven't got another one of him!
