    [Albion] Injuries

Nope. Loads of players have gone off injured in a game, and not featured for a while thereafter. Most recently, Pervis went off after 13 minutes against Burnley. Relatedly, I severely doubt JPvH got his 'muscular' injury (hamstring?) in training. They wouldn't have trained yesterday.

    [Albion] Injuries

We'll know early enough given they need to raise their shortfall by the end of June.

    [Albion] Injuries

Fair. I wasn't aware of the not training, so thanks for that.

    [Albion] Injuries

Nope. He mentioned Joao Pedro in the pre-Forest press conference.

    [Albion] Injuries

Oh, agreed, but many crave definitive understanding about everything Albion-related, and I'm of the view that we can't expect that. I'd go as far to say as that he was saying that he expects them back for the game after the international break. But maybe we can also accept that recovery...

    [Albion] Injuries

He mentioned Milner in the pre-Forest presser and indicated that, like Joao Pedro, he should be back after the international break.

    [Albion] Injuries

(This isn't the right place to make this comment, but thought I'd make it on this thread and not start a new one.) Maybe it's because the questions have been condensed or combined, but the questions RDZ have been posed in the pre-match conference by Italian journalists -- or the way in which...

    [Albion] Injuries

Worth adding that it took a long, long time for Enciso to come off the pitch. He was a good 3-4 minutes later than the rest of the players at half-time, and also didn't come round to the bench until c70 minutes from the dressing room. I think it was more that he was disappointed by his/the...

    [Albion] Injuries

Fortunately, you missed Hinshelwood off that list who the poster you're responding to thinks is 'all that'

That's the spirit, and supplemented for you

    [Albion] Injuries

I really don't think that RDZ entertains such thoughts. He's fielded strong sides in Cup games. He wants to win every game.

    [Albion] Injuries

I know that was posted a while back, but RDZ said that it was possible that Joao Pedro would be available in two weeks, although he was intimating that it might be longer

    [Albion] Injuries

So that enables to pick a 20 (11+9) from our 'first 25' and that's without including Barco -- alongside BBB and MO'M

    [Albion] Injuries

Excellent. You might want to add Pervis and Lallana to that list. Edit: and if you do, that means 22 fit players and we'll have to leave two out (BBB and MO'M the likeliest)

    [Albion] Injuries

Nearly with you, but: i, you've neglected Fati in that; and ii, I think both Fati and Enciso can play on the left (I suspect Barco might too) -- it's the right that's the problem. With March out, there's just Adingra and potentially someone like Gross (but we'd need another CM in especially with...

    [Albion] Injuries

You're off on one at the mo. FWIW, I agree with you that we need another DCM -- maybe Baleba hasn't developed as swiftly as we hoped. Not convinced about this 'winger' point. This is because, if you designate a player in a particular position -- Solly, Mitoma, Adingra = wingers, Enciso, Fati =...

    [Albion] Injuries

Thanking you. Is this from the pre-Sheff U RDZ press conference?

    [Albion] Injuries

Might be 'back' in another way, given Ivory Coast's half-time scoreline

    [Albion] Injuries

After the press conference, and the dearth of fit wide players, a back three with wing backs might be an option: --------------- Steele/Bart ----------------- ----- Van Hecke ----- Dunk ----- Igor ----- Hinshelwood -- Gross -- Gilmour -- Moder -------- Buonanotte ---- Joao Pedro -------...

    [Albion] Injuries

Thanks again. FYI, Pervis in the training video released today (I think), so a return doesn't seem too far away.
