Go along with that. From memory:
-- our defence has scored four (Duffy and Dunk, two each), that's none by the full-backs, and a pretty poor return for two CB beasts in the air
-- CM has contributed a grand total of three goals all season (Stephens two, Sidwell exocet)
-- out-wide, Solly has...
You didn't quite follow what I was saying there. I had the Villa game in mind as the last draw we had before the one at Brentford, neglecting the Cardiff no-score away fixture. After Villa, we went on a run of W8 D1 L2 (draw percentage: 9%). In that run, and beyond Cardiff, we did forget how to...
(I said this in earlier posts but) it was his dribbling, far more than his crossing, that stood out last night. He was really brave in going for it, and his cameo was indicative of something Nixonator has rightly pointed out: Hughton really does throw things at trying to get three points. I was...
That one into the keeper's arms was poor, granted, but it was Murphy that set Murray up, and there was another great cross (which was well hit -- a rare thing for a Murphy cross) to the back post, but Murray had made a run to the near post.
I think so. He was probably our most productive of the attacking nine that were on the pitch. Several penetrating runs, and a couple of good crosses too (his crossing has been awful of late, but not tonight).
Agree with most the comments on this thread. He's a talent, certainly, but his decision-making is poor too often. He should have so many more assists, given the positions he gets himself in, but there's too many shots on goal from tight angles, to pick out his worst tendency.
