Ward has been excellent. Lingard has been pretty good, and I predict that we'll see more from him in the last six games. Conway was well settled by the time he departed.

I'm not convinced by your argument in this post. Surely a player who hasn't got a contract in a few months time will be more motivated than one who knows they have a five year contract: they're playing for their future.
