Thanks for letting me know about my naivety. The fact remains that he is out of contract. It is within the club's power to make him an offer which is acceptable to him. I am making the wild assumption that this has not happened yet - hence he has not signed. And correct me if I'm wrong but...

errr He's out of contract and no one knows if he's going to sign a new one?

Why are we dicking around with this? We need a decent keeper and he is very much that. You only have to look at the chop and change amongst the prem clubs with their keepers (excluding the very best ones (De Gea, Lloris etc) to know how difficult it is to get a genuine first choice.....
