Just in time for my friday collection to be moved to next Tuesday…..now will it be normal waste next week or the week after I’ve lost track :(

Oh Ham Road…those were the days

Initially I was annoyed with the booking system ..but with the current situation it’s made getting shot of stuff a doddle, especially as I have a van ..it would be great if they maintained the extended closure times (back to near where they were)

ReSHOREHAM TIP No issue with the black bag stuff when I went down there last week ..but recycling does need to be sorted into two lots …paper/card and then plastics/bottles/tins

Overtime to clear the backlog?

They happy to take the black bag stuff without sifting through like they normally do? I understand that they’ll accept mixed recycling

…my normal collection date would have been a Friday …so will move onto the following week….so make that five weeks. Still I’ve some work in Hove this coming week…I can dump the household in their street bins :whistle:

Well….they are all having a chat now ..including the GMB…but unfortunately the strike will continue in the meantime …it’s all getting a bit smelly around the bins

I understand these services have to be paid for ..but it’s how much that will count ..along with the cost of everything else …I’d love the increase to my income that’s being offered

The Councils view https://www.adur-worthing.gov.uk/bin-strike/ According to the website refuse and garden waste missed Friday is to be collected today and missed recycling tomorrow

Hoping that Fridays missed collection is done before any action…i posted about the possibility on the Brighton strike thread last Friday ..came as a bit of a shock ….still i can always book my five allowable monthly slots at the local tip :whistle:
