The QF's last season kicked off at the following times
Saturday 19th March 5:15pm (Middlesbrough vs Chelsea)
Sunday 20th March 12:30pm (Palace vs Everton), 3pm (Southampton vs Man City) and 6pm (Forest vs Liverpool).
I'd expect the KO times to be very similar this time round. I can't see...
Whats arrogant? @sheebo is refering to the club having to suck it up and just have match day trade in the restaurants and not have the mothers day menu they normally have.
The last Friday night QF was Reading vs Palace in the 15-16 season. The last time a QF game wasn't played on the Saturday or Sunday was the 2016-17 season when Chelsea vs Man Utd took place on a Monday night. Even the Covid delayed season the QF games were played on a Sat/Sun.
If the FA Cup winners qualify for the Champions League then the Europa League place goes to the next highest league position to not qualify. This would normally be 6th place.
The FA cup runners up haven’t been given the European spot for quite a few seasons now.
