If it occurs that you don't like the album, I'd like to point out Bugg HIMSELF cited Dylan as his BIGGEST influence - it's not a conclusion I've drawn from listening to his music! Although I DO think it is apparent he has been influenced by him.
You're right - it's not - but it's probably helped succeed in getting his name on the map in the mainstream, so to speak.
And his music isn't that similar to their's, either. His biggest influence is Dylan.
He was antagonised in fairness, and I think it was meant slightly tongue-in-cheek. Also might be spurred by the fact Bugg supports Notts County (not sure how much of a rivalry - if any - there is between the two clubs).
Been dubbed the "saviour of British music" by some press outlets.
Released his debut album a few months ago. Supported The Stone Roses and Noel Gallagher recently. He's a very talented artist with a big future ahead of him.
