I was lucky enough to park my zebra next to an iconic bike at the Leicester game!

Oh I can help with that as that was my primary means of transport in 1968 and 1969. Natural instinct was to hold on tight. (Cycle helmets weren't thought of, although some motorbike riders perhaps did use a skid lid.)

Sram! I did the ridelondon thing today and included a ride from home to the start. So 128 miles into the 130 my doubletap shifter snapped off! I suppose it is whole new shifter time rather than just the aluminium lever?

I've got a £30 Lidl one. It's fine, but sometimes it's best to loosen bolts with the bike on the ground rather than up in the air.

I was in Brussels at the weekend and those dynamos we all used in the 80s are still all the rage!

I find a selection of YouTube videos give the right answer. Park tool videos are comprehensive, also most of the independent ones are good. My latest YouTube rabbit hole is "Always Another Adventure" He's a cyclist in the Highlands.

Has anyone been around King Alfred's Way yet? I'm hoping to do it this summer on 28mm tyres - so it'll need to be dry under wheel!

Me! I'm looking forward to giro time. Curiously I loved watching the US Masters, then the snooker, ignored most of the football, but the giro is gonna be a daily dose of happiness for 3 weeks.

Bravo! Bravo! I also ride an Orro and have put Hunt wheels on it. Mine is a silver Terra Gravel, but I think of it as more of my winter road bike.

No riding for me at the moment, just doesn't feel right to me to be out there pedalling about.

Having mown the lawn, I have realised it is now springtime. I hadn't noticed due to the recent rainfall landing on my bike hat every time I pop outside. Anyway, I've got the Parry Nice ITV4 highlightsset up on series record and will enjoy watching Alaphilippe and his buddies pedalling about.

Hi, always happy to wax lyrical about this one. Do a bit of practice, get started early and keep moving is the best advice. Oh, make sure you know where the water taps are as you'll need them. https://muddymoles.org.uk/rides/sdwiad-completing-a-challenge

Oh, my lbs charged £15 to replace the BB on my Orro + £30 for the part. I thought that was a bargain!
