    Just on my official 20th listening. Anyone that doesn't love the new War On Drugs album is no friend of mine. I didn't like it at all at first, it requires quite a bit of patience. It's like trying to get into Talk Talk's Spirit Of Eden. Difficult but my god, worth it.

    Finally pulled my finger out and listened to The War On Drugs album, my god. Requires some patience, but I can tell I'm going to be listening to it many, many times. You can tell it took them two years to put together.

    Same for me, just about managed to catch them supporting Parquet Courts and was more than pleasantly surprised. I hadn't realised, but they played on Letterman a couple of weeks before that C2 gig; MENTAL!

    Two cream/white LP's, two CD's (including a live album), a gloss photograph and individual lyric sheets, all neatly packaged in nicely decorated acetate paper. Beautiful. Album's not bad either.

    Just got this through the post from Rough Trade. Opening track is very promising... Also, if you're a fan of vinyl, the packaging is to DIE for.
