I've had the pleasure. I think I turned off when some weird version of the Pink Panther when on the ones and twos and i've never been back. I actually like a bit of 6 but I have to have it in small doses as its far too worthy if I listen to it all the time. I'm all for something a bit different...

There is a lot to like about your post but definitely not Jools Holland. I'd rather be transported back into the queue for Charlton tickets than watch his smug Jazz club. Seeing the New year in with some weird band from Peru you've never heard of playing the Panpipes isn't for me.
