What does “taken out of proportion” mean? Is it the same as taken out of context? Having read the article I’d like to know how they could have been taken that out of context if this was what CH was suggesting.

I agree, CH knows better than any of us so although we may moan here and there he sees the big picture, most of us don’t. Don’t hold your breath on any definitive answers about his fitness though. We have never won at Goodison so not much changed today

I half make these posts to wind you up Chailey, and you bite every time :wink: You miss my point completely though, I would not expect someone to laugh at an injury, more to do with the fact that so many long term injuries at the Albion are termed “niggles” initially. We are past the niggle...

No argument with you on that, but remember last season Stephens and Baldock first had “minor niggles” before it turned long term. Really really hope it’s not like that with Izquierdo. I am watching your injuries thread like a hawk :smile:

It’s nearly always “a minor niggle” when initially reported by the Albion :wink:

He is immune from quite a few injuries.....he doesn’t run fast enough to get them :smile:

Good idea for a thread given the split camp on whether CH is economical with the truth on expected recovery times. Kudos to chaileyjem, as a fervent believer and backer of press conference injury updates, for sticking his neck on the line for his beliefs :thumbsup:
