Have to agree with Stevie Wonder 100%. Innervisions and Talking Book were brilliant but having written the cheesiest and shittest Pop song EVER in I Just Called To Say I Love You he plummets to super uncool...imo

You haven't go the hang of this at all, since when were the Isley Brothers uncool? ( it could be that I have got it wrong of course and they are seen as seriously uncool by others :shrug: )

They were quite cool in their early Pyschedelic period ( Pictures of Matchstick Men) other than that a good introduction to rock music for 13 year olds :smile:

Fair enough I just never "got" them and even if the songs don't sound identical there is no mistaking who the band are on every song

If you like a band where virtually every song sounds the same and the band are still trying to be zany at whatever age they are now then I could see the appeal. They also very easy for overweight old men to dance to :smile:

Maybe not with Punks of the time but they were very cool when they released Sultans of Swing, not when they became the Yuppies darlings obviously
