Are you happy with the Albion's January business?

My concern also, You'd think TB would know about how fickle the Albion support is. Whether Barber does is another matter. With so little ambition being shown for the short term I too think season ticket sales will be affected at a very high level. It may be that I overestimate the fickleness of...

Excellent so more loans it is. The first paragraph worries me, I imagine we will have the same situation come the summer as we wait until the 11th hour to try and get a bargain. It seems our policy is to wait until deadline day, not ideal imo. Although we did get the Israeli in earlier, in fairness

They did apparently try pretty hard to spend 5 million though

Saturday's programme is my guess. With some thinly veiled swipes at over expectant fans.

Have I missed the club enthusing about the January activity and telling us how difficult it was? I was kind of looking forward to this.

We had last minute hitches, he was only going to going to be allowed to leave once Fabregas had signed on loan until the end of the season but that fell through at the last minute *Walter Mitty Transfer rumours*

We got him fit and firing again :lolol: Seriously though? He was one of two quality loan players we got this season. As an addition to Derby's strike force it's a pretty damned impressive signing, wish we could have kept him.

I think you'll find that's additions to a squad made up mostly of players on contract, as a last little push for promotion. Both are quality players who are not injury prone risks or old has beens. We have relied on loan players and will continue to do so it appears. It's not quite the same is...

More loan players? I am starting to really hate the loan system, it is holding this club back imo as we no longer have to make a long term commitment to players. It's a false economy too imo. How many genuinely successful teams have teams made up with as many loanees as permitted as first choice...

When is the club's very optimistic and upbeat press release about the transfer window due? Looking forward to it, with the inevitable putdown for those who aren't thrilled too.

Are you happy with the Albion's January business?

Nope, all a bit slap dash to me. Time will tell but I am nowhere near as confident as the club and a number on here that we are safe from relegation. We are probably going to have a massive rebuild come summer, just how big will depend on what division we are in. Either way I hope we ditch this...
