Slow at moving the ball, 5 yard sideways and back passes, no creativity and too small for the Premier League. I could have told them that was what they were getting if they'd asked
Good Luck and goodbye Liam. Onwards and upwards for Albion and Bridcutt. Pleased it's all done and dusted. The Poyet shadow is hopefully now gone and Oscar can get on with his job without all this shit hanging over him.
Don't disagree with anything you are saying except the fact that real football fans, whatever their position in life, are like small children in a sweet shop when it comes to who might be signing for the club. I am willing to bet TB is no different, however divorced he is from the day to day...
Well exactly, we all spend much too much time during transfer windows scouring NSC for gems amongst the turds, at least TB can make the call and find out exactly what's happening. If he reads NSC I imagine he was straight on the phone when the Wilbrahim rumour was posted
I am not a high flyer like TB but like us, he is a fan. How many of you would let somebody else sign players without you at least being told who the club were about to buy. There is NO WAY I wouldn't want an input. What if Burke decides to buy Wilbrahim because he fits into the budget. I'd go...
Barnes was offered a contract and chose not to sign it, it would surely have been easier to "lose focus" as he already knew Burnley wanted him? Bridcutt had a fair amount of his contract to run and there are plenty of players who have kept going until the transfer went through. We'll have to...
Not to me, the only thing I'm underwhelmed about is the way Bridcutt has pretty well downed tools over the last month or so. He may not have refused to play but he has put Oscar in a really difficult position. I find it quite ironic, he could do no wrong last year and Barnes could do no right...
Don't get the thinking that because it's a Premier League club wanting you it's means it's ok to just stop wanting to play for the club that pays your wages, nothing pious about it, just old fashioned morals.
That's not to say that it's Oscar who's not picking Bridcutt and he may be gagging to...
What a load of crap, until he leaves he should be committed to the club that gave him his chance. Not suggesting he even thinks about turning down Sunderland btw.
Nope I'd give 100% right up until I left, as most players do in my opinion. Barnes was the subject of a summer bid and played his heart out for us right up to his last game.
Until he goes he should be looking to play imo, if he doesn't want to it shows a piss poor attitude, he'd also be getting match fit and able to slot straight into the Sunderland team if picked. I hope it's just that Oscar doesn't want him playing anymore.
If he's not injured, that's pretty piss poor seeing as he has hardly played at all this year and is a contracted player. I guess it's possible that Oscar isn't interested in having him in the squad anymore,
I hope Oscar picks Liam today and he turns in a man of the match performance. Those at the game get the chance to give him a good send off and maybe he will be back playing for the manager he wants to re-unite with next week with a decent wedge coming our way. Everybody should then be happy as...
So it's Lee Cattermole or Liam Bridcutt, seems a bit of a narrow choice. I think the hassle factor may well make Gus look elsewhere if this is not sorted soon.
