Matt Le Tissier launched a new agency yesterday. He's just been on 5live Sports Week talking about it. It's based on his philosophy (see how many transfers he had) and prioritises career over money. Dale needs a new agent after his current one advised him so badly, this would be the ideal choice.
This.
His tweet has made me very angry with him.
He needs a new agent as a good one would have had him in the Premier League today. This 'club knew 5 weeks ago' is just not on! He should have handed in a transfer request 5 weeks ago then!
I'll be a massive DS fan again when we next play at...
I'm hoping he is stuck on the M25 with no mobile phone signal or phone battery until 23:01 tonight. And then he can **** off and **** off again until he has ****ed off out the country never to be seen or heard of again.
I have to say that Stephens would keep them in the Premier League if he (and a scoring Grey) kept fit. He is that good and we all know it on here. Full whack is surely £10m+ no?
I'm not sure this message would be welcome to potential signings (mystery striker X) whom may wish to progress his career to the top (Prem club & international caps).
I don't think Stephens will be going to Burnley now, having tapped him and his agent up all summer with derisory bids, I don't think the club will sell to them. I imagine it's Hull or another. But is there a way back for Dale with us now that he has handed in a transfer request?
Stephens-Burnley-Argus (Merged Thread)
This pops up at the end of the Pokemon signing article on the Argus:
"Burnley have subsequently turned their attention back to Derby’s Jeff Hendrick. The Republic of Ireland international is expected to join them today in a club record £10.5 million...
From Dale's perspective, I hope we have a contract waiting to be signed that substantially awards a promotion should he stay. He is a great player and lad.
Albion turn down fourth bid from Burnley for Dale Stephens.....
The information in the Argus is very precise, I don't think they'd print it unless they had a very good source. There are three likely places this information came from:
BURNLEY. They'd want this deal to be secret through a fear...
Interesting that the Argus has this story. They'd been pretty quiet about the details before. My guess is that the '4 bids' and '£5.5m' have been leaked by the club to the paper. They are resigned to losing Dale and now want to smoke out a bigger club like Red Bull Leipzig.
It was more than Gray's goals although they'd have struggled to get in the top 6 without them. They were quite amazing at set-pieces and were very well organised indeed. They played dull dull dull percentage football which involved setting up the team to defend and hit long balls to Gray, he'd...
This. Infact, why would he travel and not be in the starting 11? Kayal is an intense, driven and hard man, he will look 'laid back Dale' in the eyes and demand that he starts next to him today.
