No 'crumbs-of-comfort' for Palace trolls to feed on tonight.
Given their fixtures in April & May, the prospect of European football at Selhurst next season is starting to look in doubt unless they can pick up some points soon. Is anyone brace enough to rule out 'Palace in the Champions League...
They also, allegedly, have the best fans in the world. The type of fans who'll get behind their team from the 1st minute to the 90th giving them the support they need to achieve a result. These are the sort of fans who would never walk out at half time and would never jump on to the pitch and...
I've got to hold my hands up on the appointment of big Sam, I was totally wrong.
I thought Pardew was the man to get Palace to where they belong but Sam has done an amazing job. It's not often you sack a manager who is delivering to fans exactly what they deserve and then get another one who...
What was Big Sam's cut of the deal. I'd guess £1m (paid to him by S'land for taking an unwanted player away for well over his value). Thank god Big Sam has got so many contacts and can land these star players for you.
The bottom 4 are being left behind, however, Palace have been utterly blessed this season by having 3 utter utter shite factories below them. They'll finish 17th but it will still be entertaining seeing them struggle!
Into your pockets?
Have you got the squad to stay up or do you need some more hardened battlers rather than show ponies like Cabeye & Townsend whom I assume had been purchased to get you into Europe?
They are still not in the bottom three. Shit result after shit result and they still can't sink to the bottom. However, I've a feeling that if they do end up there, that's where they'll stay.
I was distraught when poor Pards got the elbow but maybe I was wrong. I'm starting to believe that Big Sam can continue Pard's good work. They could now couldn't they?
Not sure about that. Hull, Swansea & Sunderland are so incredibly poor, I can't see how they can get many more points. Palace are atrocious but there always seems to be worse teams than them keeping them out the bottom three.
He has shown such loyalty for Palace. The least they can do is give him a fair chance to keep them up. Judge him in May. As previous posters have said, he needs to be given funds (£100m+) in January - he is probably one signing (another Adebayor?) away from getting the job done.
#pardewin Can't believe the comments on here. There is no shame in losing to Man Utd. Give the manager at least a dozen more games to try and improve things before we judge him. He may lose them all but at least he'd be given a fair chance.
