Currently listening to this week's Albion Roar Downunder, fascinating interview with Paul Ifill. This is a really nice addition to the Albion podcast library.
I certainly didn't agree with their viewpoints but it did make for err......lively listening. Thoroughly enjoyed the anecdotes though, highly entertaining. Who have thought the most controversial show of the year would have been Costa and Lees when Barber has already been on.
Absolute cracking opening 30 minutes of spleen venting with barely a pause for breath from anyone as the club gets ripped apart. A good listen this week chaps.
Having read the chapter in the book dealing with the Virgo transfer it is clear that Dick actually valued Adam very highly indeed, he just thought his 'market-value' was £200,000. One of the reasons he turned down the initial offer was that he felt Adam was worth more than that to the Albion...
Funnily enough that was how I heard it too. It seems clear that whether we are happy with the results or not that pretty much no stone is left unturned in our search for players.
