Play and they need to bowl 56 overs tonight.
Sounds like a comical mess up by Sussex of a failed run out. Batmen fell over and someone shyed at the stumps leading to buzzers.
Could have rolled it over.
Should have batted on, sounds like Jordan bowled too short. \
Still lets hope the rain stays away tomorrow.
Sussex 358/9d
Gloucestershire 31/0 (7.0 ov)
Gloucestershire trail by 327 runs with 10 wickets remaining in the 1st innings
This just posted on the BBC site - On the left pink ball after 80 overs. On the right new one 5 balls old. They are said to be made the same but the red ball doesn't scuff up so early. Worth giving Briggs the ball for an over at the end.
He stated he has been up since 5AM, and that he is only doing today as Adrian was at Glastonbury (so he may be as goofy tomorrow depending on how much sleep he got)
They have full bowling points for 9 wickets under 110 overs - 3 points
We have 4 batting points for getting 350 runs - we have 14 overs to get 50 runs with two tail enders to get final batting point
Doesn't he get up about 4 o clock in the morning to do the sports reports on the local radio - could be a long day for him if the game goes on to about 10pm
Also the reporters have to now update lots of local radio accounts and the main BBC sports accounts - something he didn't have to worry...
Brown gone, the last of our specialist batsman, 2 bonus points bagged, need the all rounders and tail enders to wag now, get us at least two more.
Could they be facing a few overs late at night against our quicks.
Tea! 259 for 5
