Just reply with a simple “talks are ongoing” then. It’s a bit like Starmer and the press…keep the target as small as possible…there’s no need for him to say anything more.
It’s a bit extreme to suggest he should know his place. But I do think he should be more respectful and, if he has an issue, talk with his employers and not the public.
