So. I made the ticket collection point with 15 minutes to spare, jumped back in the cab then asked the taxi driver to keep the engine running whilst I checked into the hotel. Next stop was Amsterdam Arena. Made the stadium with a leisurely hour to spare in the end. Though, the travel woes...

6 hours of stress on a train, followed by 90 minutes of stress during the game. Gotta love this football lark havnt you? :lol:

Agree. Once we get to Utrecht we should be okay as we have the option of getting a cab.

It was the train we were on. We had to get off. Kaput. If all goes to plan we now arrive in Amsterdam Centraal at 15:55.

Had to change trains….this isn’t going well.

Moving again. I think they’ve replaced the Dutch loco with a solid German engine.

I think it’s the Dutch half of the train causing the problems :lolol:

Stopping again in Hannover, more engine repairs. Pray for us.
