Why did the landlord go through with the charade of selling to Bison then? I'm not disputing this...just don't fully understand why the landlord would do this.

I did. Although I wouldn't say I have invested. I put some money in because I support their aims and want to help them achieve them. If I get a return it's a bonus.

I agree, it will be a long road but I think with all the good will, free finance and free professional services* and all round support they stand a much better chance than a regular business. I really do want this to work for a number of reasons.
