As an aside, been listening to Dr Rubinstein a lot recently. She has some excellent mixes on Soundcloud. Grounded in techno but adds squelchy acid and some driving beats in as well. I appreciate I’m late to her game; a good friend recommended her only recently.

Someone I really got into at the end of last year was Helena Hauff and her Qualm album. Still listen to it a lot now. Gui Borrato, on the faultless Kompakt label, had a cracking album out last year as well.

As an aside, The Forest was one of about 5 songs I learnt to play on my bass guitar when I was a teen.

Baths Obsidian was a good recommendation. Very interesting and it gets better (and darker) with each listen. Cheers

Good question. I think it was 2 Bears or Felix Da Housecat both just over a year ago. Whilst I have been out to clubs since then it's not actually been for a specific DJ. Erol Arkan and Daniel Avery double-header is coming up in March though.
