I think we're going to need a bigger butt

Very well put. I agree with this.

It's what I do though, this an my (in-demand I will add) 1901 Club food thread. You pick the same political/racism fight with the same 3 or 4 people, I do this. We all have our themes

Intelligence or economics/work/family reasons? Personally I'd question the sanity of anyone living in Uckfield but people do and who am I to say they're wrong (or mad)?

Considering some of the smug shit in this thread I am very very compassionate in comparison. Who knows why these people chose to live where they live. It could have been economic, family or work reasons which forced their arm a little. And even if they can afford an expensive wood floor it...

No one has said its Cameron's fault. I know Cameron destroys people's lives and hopes but this was down to nature.

Couldn't agree more. Given the tariffs they charge the power companies were probably lying down on a solid gold chaise being fed roasted swan and caviar.

My oh my there are some smug people on this site. Do you not feel sorry for someone who has spent money trying to make their home nice to see it all washed away?

HA HA HA HA, oh my sides are splitting.

Maybe the PTSD from a Cameron visit is covered on what's left of the NHS?

Unfortunately some people just have to live in less desirable places. Not everyone has the ability to move away from Tory blue-rinse land.

Come on fella. Please don't take your frustration with not getting the tricycle you wanted for Xmas out on me.

A friend is in Finland and the UK wet and windy weather was on the news there, followed by someone saying wet and windy weather is what the UK is used to.

It's Xmas time and my love and compassion goes out to all, even those with a humour by-pass.
  16. Herr Tubthumper

House flooded, contents destroyed, no power for 48 hours

True, but I'm showing compassion which is not what Timbo was doing. Besides, I was a victim on Xmas eve and had to take on the railway in order to get to Brighton.

Very easy to write this from the comfort of your warm dry house I bet?

And just when you think Xmas cannot get any worse Cameron turns up on your door step. What a terrible, awful, time some people have had. http://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2013/dec/27/david-cameron-confronted-residents-flooded-village
