Mostly this. I thought I wouldn't feel like this when I was older (I'm 63) and I do recognise the concept of 'gateways'. However if someone, for example with 'low intelligence' and poor peer support is offered drugs by a mate then..... Then making them illegal is irrelevant. They will do it...
