Odd for a binfest on the relative merits of two of our most succesful periods. there is no need to rank them. They were both great, i was there for both. Wouldn't trade one for the other or rank them, both make the club what it is.

Itake the point but would only say he hasn't given it away. Its an investment. The question is how much of his personal wealth would he put at risk for the wealth of the PL? Much of what has gone in is an asset, it has resale value.

Thanks, that's makes sense to me and was what I understood. I don't get why people (well Ernest in this instance!) want to put down DK with cheap shots when he is a key part of our history

To spell it out I am only defending the point that DK saved the club. Pleased he did it with hidden investors as well, if that was the case.

But are the FFP rules really going on for long? Good interview with Wenger who basically said its all too flaky now and that (paraphrasing) they dont hold much weight

Someone on here said DK only saved the club with TB money which I was asking for evidence of. I don't think that qoute is the evidence, it doesnt say when or to what extent, only that he invest is a smaller way earleir
