Oh good grief.
I'd rather he had stayed as well, as I made perfectly clear, but the money we got was good business for a club of our standing and any other club would have done the same.
Shall we now just all move on?
It's perfectly apt.
I can only deduce from the limited opinion you are sharing - i.e. to replace a house worth a million you have to spend a million - that you believe we should have spent £8.5m replacing Leo? Is that correct?
Please do make yourself clear for us all.
Oh and 8ace if you are now going to talk about the comparative amounts spent on replacing Ulloa then that is a different debate to your face palm quotes.
Are you still drunk from last night?
That's only if you are accustomed to living in a one million pound house.
So, still waiting a little more explanation on the face palm.
Nobody wanted him to leave, but £6.5m offer was great business on paper and money we needed and could reinvest.
It's...
Agree.
If you bought a house for £200k and somebody offered you a million plus for it then I doubt many would be hanging on if they could see if they could get a little more. Clearly 8ace is still to explain his witching hour face palm to us, but I can't see what point he is making.
What is the point you are making? That Ulloa is worth more than that when there was little at the time to prove so?
You must have had to do a lot of trawling to find a few comments just so you could do a face palm.
As I said in my original post, I'd rather he had stayed, but for the return on...
I don't think Lingard and Andrews have been the prospects we thought they might.
I do think the purchasing strategy has been somewhat curious this year. I can only assume the purse strings were tied in 2013/14 for a very good reason. Let's hope they are loosened next year and better decisions...
£6.5million?
I'll drive him to Leicester myself for that.
I doubt very much that they'd pay that. Would much rather Leo stayed.
If true, then it's a poor show from Leicester to be destabalising our season in this way. Theirs may have finished, but ours is still ongoing.
Let's put in an offer...
