    I think (and I'm prepared to be corrected) that if the club is mathematically down, then a deduction is applied the following season but if they can still be saved, then it would be applied now. If the deduction is inevitable, Bolton would much prefer it to be now than in a month's time.

    Didn't the club a massive amount (more than £100m) of debt written just over a year ago. I thought the new owner was starting with a clean slate, how did the club get into such a state so quickly?
