I'm not convinced about this, kids will tend to vote for attacking players but, if you look back at past winners, the flair players don't tend to win it - Peter Ward was here for four seasons and didn't win it, nor did Gotsmanov, Vicente or Worthington, the three flairiest players I've seen...
Amazing isn't it? I remember years when it's gone to the likes of Peter Smith and Andrew Whing for being the least bad; now we have half a dozen (or more) serious contenders.
Me? I'd currently vote for Stephens as the man who really makes us tick. It's when he's not there that makes us realise...
