    Five times in the last eight months, I've had to abandon a journey to get somewhere as the trains were so screwed up - five times - and only one of those was a strike day. And don't forget the chaos after the Villa game: terrible service for those trying to get home, again, a non-strike day

    There should be some hollow laughter come next general election when the Tories come out with their 'party for business' spiel. I wonder if anyone will remember all the lost days then

    I don't see why anything will change. The government has no interest in backing down, they want to make political capital out of crushing the unions and they know that no matter how bad it gets - even if the government gets blamed - True Blue Sussex and Surrey will continue to vote for them...
