The work permit issue is completely out of the clubs hands though. I'd expect if they foresee those kinds of complications then they'd look at a longer term strategy - still go after the player but get a loan in to cover for that person until such time as their permit issue is resolved.

I'm sorry, but you've just dismantled any argument you've made - without know what he has been given as requirements by the Board, then you have absolutely no idea whether he is achieving or not.
I don't blame people for feeling that they haven't done enough - i'm not saying whether he has done a good or a bad job (it's not my place). It's about expectations. I actually wrote a post about it in another thread and i'm too lazy to repeat myself :wink:
