Does a vegetarian or vegan have the right to criticise meat-eaters, even though they might have done the same, even if is was many years before?

No-one is saying that at all. But, as a GLOBAL superstar, Beckham being called out for cashing in will get WAY more coverage and attention than directing anger/outrage at a bunch of corrupt suits at FIFA. Not that that shouldn't be done as well.
