Took this just before our well-deserved win today. The hoverfly (at least I think it may be a type of hoverfly judging by its behaviour) was squabbling with rivals over a sunny patch between stems in a stand of bananas.

Yeah, I've seen them somewhere other than Brighton (can't recall and also at Hampden Park Eastbourne they are happy enough living here but I am unsure whether they reproduce as perhaps our summer is too cool?
I've also used an adapter for the Fujis with my vintage lenses with great success. I bought the Pentax K5 second hand, which is fairly old and lacks some features, but still takes fine pictures. It's nice not to bother with adapters and simply use the lens natively.

Nice! I have a Fuji x-t1 and a Fuji x-t200. Both lovely cameras. I also use a Pentax K5 as I have a load of old Pentax prime lenses.
How do you find the x-t5? It's 40 mega pixels isn't it? I'd like that for cropping!

I resize mine to about half size on the website I mentioned. Then use the button just in front of the emoji in the options above the place a post is written. That then says 'drop image or click here'.
Could it be that the original JPEG you uploaded is very small, a thumbnail? I always use imageresizer.com as photos straight from the camera are too large.
I think the 'real' camera would have produced a better initial image. I use a Fuji mostly and its jpegs are famed for being great straight from the camera without any meddling. Phone software has less image quality in terms of clarity as it uses an inferior lens and the software tends to be a...
