I've not said that I think Dunk has refused to play. I was simply responding to a post that said that Hughton has said that Dunk will be "involved" tonight, which I've not seen him say - s'all.
Setting a bad precedent was always going to end in tears. I'm not suggesting that Dunk is behaving badly, but it is inevitable that someone will (or has) as a result of previous weakness. Sometimes, you just have to dig your heels in...pour encourager les autres.
Yep - if he isn't playing or on the bench then the statement is quite probably true. Unless, of course, he's just "picked up a minor knock in training"...
Hmmm. Well, there's certainly a lot of stuff about Murphy. I've thought for a while that Dunk would be leaving us this window; if he does go, I do hope he leaves with dignity. Ulloa managed it excellently; Bridcutt didn't.
